The 40 + Anniversary Drone Intelligent Programming Challenge concluded on December 9th, with the champion being Hong Kong Baptist Convention Primary School.
On the competition day, all team members demonstrated their strongest abilities to deliver a series of exciting scoring matches for the audience.
This drone challenge was a STEAM-oriented competitive event where participants were required to programmatically control drones to complete a series of challenging tasks and obstacle courses. The competition arena was set up with various obstacles and targets, and participants had to utilize their programming skills to enable the drones to autonomously navigate through the obstacles without using remote control while achieving precise flight, obstacle avoidance and navigation. This event combined drone technology, programming and mathematical measurement skills. It allows participants to learn how to accurately measure distances, angles and also enhance their programming logic thinking skill. They showcased their innovative and flexible problem-solving abilities during the competition.
